A Giant is a massive boss mob unused in Minecraft but used in the Shotbow game, MineZ, and was a frequent goal in fan hardcores before many moved on to dungeons.

How to Slay a Giant[edit | edit source]
- The Giant appears as a boss at Giant's Camp, Giant's Rest, Giant's Beach and the Floating Islands, but also appears as a mini-boss in Shrine of the Dusk, Anemos Sanctum and Frostbain Catacombs.
- It cannot be hit by bows, grenades, etc, so swords are a must (grenades are useful to deal with the spawned zombies, though).
- The Smite enchantment also does not affect Giants; however, jump-crits do deal additional damage.
- It has two attacks: a stomp and a kick. The stomp is an area of effect shockwave that has massive knockback and inflicts slowness. The kick is basically the same attack, but is a focused attack instead of AoE.
- Hitting the Giant will spawn zombies (and rarely Pigmen). Thus, spam-clicking is not advised, as this will lead to an overwhelming number of zombies swarming the player. Grenades can help if the number of zombies is becoming overwhelming.
- Upon being killed, a Giant drops a large amount of rotten flesh, as well as 0-4 items out of a pool of: golden apple, golden carrot, diamond sword, bow with Infinity, iron axes, and zombie heads. There can be duplicate items (i.e. 2 diamonds swords).
Trivia[edit | edit source]
- The Giant was previously available in the dungeons Dark Mansion, Exolesco Tunnels, Krubera Vault, Mantle and Necromancer Tower. It was also previously found at Cave of the Dead Lady, Forest, Giant's Farm, and Test of Virtues.
