The Floating Islands is a location in the Shotbow game, MineZ, the home of the ruined Earth Spire, and is one of the more frequent goals in fan hardcores.

- The path leading to the entrance to the islands is at (2250, -3700). When coming here, go to these coordinates and not the ones listed on the map.
- Path A (Northeast side of FI) has more pigmen, while Path B (Southwest side of FI) has more parkour. A large group may choose to complete both paths simultaneously to avoid clutter.
- Water refills are available in several places, including the spire island at the top.
- With 3 pot_rares, FI is technically among the best places in the game to acquire glowstone and lingering II potions.
- Getting here and looting the islands will require lots of food, as it is often required to sprint-jump.
- A desperate player in need of food can frequently find carrots in the spire chests.
- Be careful when ascending the waterfall to the spire island, as one is vulnerable to falling zombies and players with bows.
- Snowballs are important to bring here as to avoid getting killed by mobs while looting chests.
- Zombie spawners are (almost) always marked by skeleton skulls. The exceptions are a couple of spawners that are built into the spire and mini-spires.
- Zombie pigman spawners are always marked by wither skeleton skulls. Immediately run past these if they're near.
