SY64 HC
Appearance
(Redirected from SuperYoshi64 (Hardcore Series))
SY64 HC (short for SuperYoshi64 HC) was a fan HC series hosted and edited by SuperYoshi64 (also known as Cody). The regulars were FishStyx, NintenDweeb, Wist, JR, and Del. The series was canned on December 2018 due to the SuperYoshi64 channel being rebooted and eventually retired. On March 2021, the series got a spiritual successor in the form of Cody's HC yet it is much different from this series.

Trivia[edit | edit source]
- This series was the debut of FishStyx and NinteDweeb in Minecraft #1, Frost in Terraria #1, Twinklink in Yoshi's HC Island, and ShippyDoo in Minecraft Smash Mini
- Although 5 seasons were recorded before the ones listed above, they were all scrapped for various reasons.
- Due to the series cancellation, two seasons didn't make the cut:
- The first was SY64 Don't Starve HC with SuperYoshi64, FishStyx, Brady, Kryptyk, Zartle, and Del. The goal was Deerclops, which they made to and died fighting it. The season was planned for Janurary 2019 but very little was done on it.
- The next was SY64 Minecraft HC 2 with SuperYoshi64, FishStyx, NintenDweeb, Rosebuddy, Gizzmo, Qwoppy, Wist, JR, and Del. This was planned as the series finale and the goal was all 3 Minecraft bosses, which they ended up succeeding at. The season was planned for Summer 2019 but never got any editing on.
- This is one of the first series that does not have unique death portraits for each person and Instead uses a skull portrait. This is also one of the first series to use flames as the danger indicator instead of the usual red flash, which was allegedly the inspiration to be used in Torchlight II Elitecore.
