- This series is the debut of both Raven and Person.
- In the teaser it shows footage from HC Ultima, a hardcore that was recorded months before Mortal Trial but was canned for various reasons.
- The teaser portrays HC Ultima as a "failed simulation"
- Raven is the only guest from HC Ultima to come back for Mortal Trial
- Mortal Trial is the first hardcore to have filmed scenes with a person during the hardcore itself.
- The character is known as Ceath and is portrayed as the main character in control
- He's also acted by Cody, the host and editor of the series
