Mortal Trial is a fan hardcore hosted and edited by Cody with a movie-like structure a narrator character commenting on the events of these simulations, which are the seasons you see here. Raven, Tricky, and Person are the mains while also providing background assistance like art and testing.

This series is the debut of both Raven and Person.
Mortal Trial is the first hardcore to have filmed scenes with a person during the hardcore itself.
- The character is known as Ceath and is portrayed as the "main character in control"

In the teaser it shows footage from HC Ultima, a hardcore that was recorded months before Mortal Trial but was cancelled for various reasons.
