The Twisted Scavenger is a Final Boss in Risk of Rain 2, first introduced in the Hidden Realms update.

Survivors[edit | edit source]

GB, Chickn, Shoop, Cola, Grav (Risk of Rain 2 Hardcore Season 1 Goldenbrawler)

Preparation[edit | edit source]

The only way to get to this boss is to obtain the Beads of Fealty, a lunar item that otherwise appears to do nothing. After this point, you must bring the beads to The Obelisk, which will only be available after looping through stages at least once.

Behavior[edit | edit source]

The Twisted Scavenger acts as a buffed up version of the regular Scavenger, meaning:

1. It's moveset is shared with regular Scavengers.

2. It will obtain items as the fight progresses, meaning they benefit from the effects just as a player would.

3. They can level up as time goes on as well, increasing their overall stats.

The main difference, is that this version of the Scavenger has a pre determined loadout, which will be covered in it's own section further. Regardless, Scavengers are already a major threat to deal with, so the Twisted Scavenger is no exception.

It's attacks include:

Energy Shotgun Volley

It fires 3 blasts, each having 3 projectiles. Has a Proc Coefficient of 2.0.

Thqwibs

It will proceed to throw 6 exploding projectiles, which each can activate item effects. This attack also counts as it's secondary attack, meaning it's effected by Backup Magazines. Has a Proc Coefficient of 1.0.

Scavenge Item

It will scavenge through it's bag for new items, gaining 800 armor until they find something. The rarity is similar to a regular chest:

If they find a white/common item, they get 5 of that item.

If they find a green/uncommon item, they get 3 of that item.

If they get a red/legendary item, they get 1 of that item.

Something unique about this boss is that there are 4 variants of the Twisted Scavenger that you can encounter. As said earlier, they each spawn with a different loadout.

Rewards from the Twisted Scavenger[edit | edit source]

Once it's defeated, the bag it scavenged through will drop to the ground. The player will be given a chance to collect 10 lunar coins that drop, before the run ends.
