Calamity Canyon SyKore is the fifth official season of SyKore hosted and edited by SyKo. The cast consists of SyKo, Raio, Jack, Scrubby, Brodie, Thoomas, Luke and Omegers, and the portraits are made by Rocky. The goal of the season is to retrieve eleven blocks of wool from eleven different dungeons, as well as obtain six material blocks, and bring them back to the monument in Calamity Canyon, a Minecraft CTM map created by renderXR.

Trivia

• This was the first regular SyKore season to not feature Fenix.
  • Fenix did, however, provide spectator shots, along with Toni.
    • The spectators both had a Lakitu skin during the season.
• This was also the first regular SyKore season to feature a guest returning from a previous regular season, as Brodie returned from Terraria #1.
• Additionally, this was the first regular SyKore season to end in failure.
• Originally, episodes were supposed to release on Wednesdays and Saturdays, but after NormalBoots Minecraft #1 started on the same day with the same schedule, this was changed to Thursdays and Sundays.
• Calamity Canyon Rolecore was treated as a redemption for this season.
  • At the end of Calamity Canyon SyKore's finale, Calamity Canyon Rolecore was teased.
  • The two seasons have identical logo styles, with the same font and color gradient being used on both.
  • Four of the cast members (SyKo, Jack, Luke and Omegers) appeared in both seasons.
• Floop's Thoomas HC portrait is hidden in the thumbnail for every episode of the season.
