The Bone Dragon is the 6th and penultimate boss in Starbound, as well as the third boss in Starbound's beta stages.

Reaching The Bone Dragon[edit | edit source]
After Defeating Big Ape, you have to scan for glitch clues often found in tier 6 planets such as volcanic planets. Once the clues are scanned, you are given access to the Baron's Keep Mission. Instead of your typical dungeon, this mission is a defense mission that makes you fight off waves of cultists. After that, the final challenge is in the form of the Bone Dragon.
Bone Dragon's Attacks[edit | edit source]
- Fireballs: It very often shoots fireballs from its mouth, which can do damage to you and set you on fire. These fireballs can also temporarily set the ground on fire, dealing even more damage to you.
- Reinforcements: Although it technically isn't an attack, it is worth mentioning that cultists can still spawn during the fight. Some have swords while others have bows, trebuchets and flying cultists will not spawn during the fight.
Defeating Bone Dragon[edit | edit source]
If you have any crew members or pets, they will be useful on distracting/killing cultists that spawn mid fight so you can focus on the dragon. It is also recommended that you stand on the storage crates in the keep when fighting bone dragon, as semisolids like those cannot have ground fire on top of their surface.
After Bone Dragon[edit | edit source]
Defeating the Bone Dragon will grant you direct access to The Ruin fight, you will be rewarded a loot bag and the Baron moving into the ark.
