The Pirate Invasion is an hardmode event in the game Terraria and is used as a goal in some hardcores. The event also includes the boss "Flying Dutchman", which can be avoided.

Summoning
The Pirate Invasion can occurr randomly in hardmode but can also be summoned with a Pirate Map which drops from all mobs in the ocean biome.
Spawns
The Pirate Invasion spawns
- 3 types of melee enemys ("Pirate Corsair", "Pirate Deckhand" and "Parrot"),
- 3 types of ranged enemys ("Pirate Captain", "Pirate Crossbower" and "Pirate Deadeye")
- the mini-boss "Flying Dutchman"
You have to kill at least (depending on the amount of players) 120 pirates (not including the Flying Dutchman) to complete the Invasion.
