The Pirate Invasion is an hardmode event in the game Terraria and is used as a goal in some hardcores. The event also includes the boss "Flying Dutchman", which can be avoided.

Kill Count

(italic indicates the person died during a Pirate Invasion, but the death wasn't directly caused by it)

Survivors

  • JR, Jack (Terraria AriCore #2)

Summoning

The Pirate Invasion can occurr randomly in hardmode but can also be summoned with a Pirate Map which drops from all mobs in the ocean biome.

Spawns

The Pirate Invasion spawns

  • 3 types of melee enemys ("Pirate Corsair", "Pirate Deckhand" and "Parrot"),
  • 3 types of ranged enemys ("Pirate Captain", "Pirate Crossbower" and "Pirate Deadeye")
  • the mini-boss "Flying Dutchman"

You have to kill at least (depending on the amount of players) 120 pirates (not including the Flying Dutchman) to complete the Invasion.
