Game Modifications[edit | edit source]
- "Kill Issue" Twist: Each participant will receive a book containing a unique role and win condition that they must complete, then defeat the Wither and the Ender Dragon. Most of these win conditions usually involve killing players in specific ways or ensuring certain players die, fostering an atmosphere of strategy and tension. Listed below are the 19 possible roles. Not all roles are in the season proper.
- Alchemist: Kill a player of your choosing while having at least 3 active potion effects. (They must come from potions.)
- Assassin: Ensure the death of the specified player. You do not need to kill them personally.
- Avenger: Kill a player who has gotten a kill within the same in-game day.
- Bodyguard: Ensure that your specified target stays alive. If they die, you become armorless and get a new target. If that second target dies, you will suffer heavy debuffs and become a Bystander.
- Fortress Guard: Ensure the death of the first player to enter the Nether Fortress. If you are the first, you must instead kill a player of your choosing while inside the Fortress.
- Freelancer: Upon picking up a dead player's role contract, the Freelancer becomes that role. They cannot win otherwise.
- Hitman: Kill a player from a list of five random players. You must kill them personally.
- Multiversal Murderer: Kill a player of your choosing in the Overworld, and kill a player of your choosing in the Nether.
- Poacher: Ensure the death of the player with the specified role. You do not need to kill them personally.
- Pyromaniac: Kill a player of your choosing using fire or lava in some way.
- Serial Killer: Ensure the deaths of all other players. You do not have to complete the main goal.
- Shadow Killer: Kill two players of your choosing while it is night-time.
- Sniper: Kill a player of your choosing using a bow and arrow.
- Stalker: Kill two players of your choosing while within 25 blocks of the base.
- Trapper: Ensure that at least one player dies in a trap you set. The kill will not count if you attack them beforehand.
- Bystander: Live to see the main goal completed. (Not rolled.)
- Introvert: Live to see the main goal completed without revealing to anyone that you are the Introvert. (Goal added onto Sydney, via Panda finding a book.)
- Public Executioner: Kill a player of your choosing while in the presence of at least 3 other people. (Not rolled.)
- Shikari Killer: Kill any three players of your choosing. (Originally meant for Koko, but they chose to be the Trapper via finding a book.)
- Positional Audio: Each participant can only talk to and hear others in which they are close to.
- Reduced Knowledge: Each participant is prohibited from viewing the chat or the server list. This limits knowledge of deaths and achievements to only what the person has experienced, seen or heard about.
- Modified World Generation: The world now generates new biomes in the Overworld, as well as new structures and blocks.
- "Biome Bundle" Modification: This modification adds over 400 new biomes with 2,000 new structures, adding a lot of variety to the feel of the world.
- Yung's Better Caves: This modification overhauls the world's caves, making them more interesting to explore.
- Spartan Weaponry and Shields: This modification adds multiple different weapons of the normal ores with different strengths and weaknesses, along with more shields.
- MineTraps: This modification adds multiple traps to try and kill players with, including pitfall blocks and chest bombs.
