<spoiler show="SPOILER" hide="Hide">Team B (Quote, Lufia and Toad), Team H (Spicy, Nigel and Kyoger), and Team G (Piggy, Zarn and Raio) start off separate from each other, and make shelters to hunker in until they can make a compass to meet up. After gearing up and making a compass, all teams set off to 0,0 to meet with one another. Upon reuniting, they make their permanent base of operations, get settled in, and answer The Question, before splitting off once again. Team U (Lufia, Nigel and Zarn) go underground to find more resources, Team S (Toad, Kyoger and Raio) stay above ground to work on the house, and Team T (Quote, Spicy and Piggy) set off elsewhere.

Things don't go as planned however, as Team T's adventure is cut short by Piggy being blown up by a creeper. Zarn and Raio immediately notice and alert their teams, and all 6 Pokémon meet back up to discuss what happens before Quote and Spicy return. With morale down, they all decide to go caving together, and find an abandoned mineshaft. While trying to save Spicy, Quote gets surrounded by mobs, ultimately dying to a zombie. In the mass panic and confusion, Raio dies as well, with nobody noticing for a good while until Toad and Lufia discover his loot, with his HM02 being there confirming his demise. The group once again leaves the caves to mourn their fallen friends as they prepare for The Nether ahead of them.

The group enters The Nether, immediately finding a fortress. Things go smoothly for a while, but a stray arrow from a skeleton angers the horde of zombie pigmen. The group survives long enough for the pigmen to calm down, but Spicy mistakenly shoots another one, re-angering the entire horde. One drops down on Lufia, nearly killing him, but Nigel takes the aggro off the pigmen, dying in the process. With enough blaze rods in hand, the group cuts their losses and escapes the fortress, returning home. After lots of debate, they once again split up into two teams, with Team Wasabi (Spicy and Kyoger) exploring the surface, and Team 'Tude (Lufia, Toad and Zarn) going underground to mine for diamonds.

Team Wasabi find a desert temple and decide to use that as a temporary base as they hunt for endermen, still needing ender pearls. They both nearly die, but scrape by, only for Spicy to let his guard down at a skeleton killing a husk and be blown up by a creeper that snuck up behind him. Kyoger mourns the loss of Spicy, deciding to keep hunting endermen until he has enough to go back home, determined to meet back up with Team 'Tude. All the while this is happening, Team 'Tude found an excess of diamonds, hanging around the surface of their home hunting for endermen on their own. They also remodel the house and Toad hates it. Kyoger makes it home, breaking the news that Spicy has died, leaving them all trainerless. The group makes final preparatoins for the end, say goodbye to their home, and leave for the stronghold, reminiscing over the adventure they shared up to that point.

Upon reaching the stronghold, they make their way to the portal room, mentally preparing themselves and taking their potions, and enter The End. They make quick work of the crystals, and take the Ender Dragon's health to only a fourth, before it charges at Lufia, killing him. Without a moment to breath, the remaining three are then charged at simultaneously, each being knocked back separate ways. Toad is knocked a short distance, ender pearling back to safety, Zarn is knocked a very high distance, dying from the fall, and Kyoger is knocked onto one of the obsidian pillars, using a water bucket to prevent fall damage. Kyoger uses the same water to swim down, but is charged by the dragon shortly after landing, dying. With only a sliver of health left reamaining on the Ender Dragon, Toad charges it, killing it once and for all.

Leaving The End, Toad returns home, retracing the steps he took to get there, all alone. Upon his homecoming, he builds graves for Lufia, Zarn and Kyoger, pays his respects for his fallen friends, climbs up to Raio's perch, and jumps off, ending his life.</spoiler>
