Hardcore Community Discord Server

Hardcore Community! is a discord server acting as the main hub for the community surrounding the Hardcore genre of video based on the series by Peanut Butter Gamer. The server was created on June 29, 2017 by Cinnabread. The server has chats for general hardcore discussion, specific hardcore discussion, popular hardcore games and general discussion.

Events

Mega Hardcores

Mega Hardcores are large scale casual hardcores where typically an extra large cast is split into many teams with a common objective.

Hardcore Jams

Staring in 2023, Hardcore Jams are competitions in which members are invited to make a short Hardcore within a certain time limit and following other parameters.

Role Games

Starting as exclusive to PeanutButterGamer Hardcore seasons and then expanding to select Fan Hardcores, Role Games are a passive activity where you bet on a certain cast member surviving the series. When select the cast member, you get the associated role. When the season is over, the winners or last survivor's roles are kept until the next season. The exact rules have varied game by game, in some versions you can switch to other cast members until a certain point.

The Hardcore Awards

Beginning in 2023, the Hardcore Awards switched from its independent status to being produced by the Community Server. The Awards are presented each year, giving all community members the ability to vote for their favorite Hardcore seasons/minis released that year under different game categories. Additionally, Hardcore hosts and editors are able to showcase their upcoming projects by featuring their trailers throughout the show.

• The Hardcore Community server has had two PeanutButterGamer Hardcore cast members as server members.
  • McJones, whom was a member of Team New Kids for a majority of his stay.
  • Soah was in the server from Sep 28, 2017 to Feb 25, 2018. He left after being pinged by Joe to join a PBG Hardcore watchalong. Soah was admittedly intoxicated and was annoyed by the ping.
